Kailey Steadman is a Communications Manager at Cape Cod 5, an independent state-chartered community bank serving Cape Cod, the Islands and Southeastern Massachusetts. In her role, she works closely with members of Executive Management to draft and edit content for internal and external communications, including employee communications, press releases and presentation remarks. She manages the Bank’s main platform for employee communications as well as its communication calendar, ensuring that all content is on-brand, accurate, best curated for the intended audiences and approved by necessary stakeholders.Kailey holds a Master’s Degree in General Management from Harvard University and gained extensive professional experience at Harvard Business School, including her time with the HBS Career and Professional Development Department, where she served as a liaison between HBS MBA students, alumni and recruiters from leading global and domestic organizations. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communication with a certificate in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a certificate from the New England School of Financial Studies achieved at Babson College.In her free time, Kailey utilizes her experience in writing and editing and career development to help friends and family fine-tune their communications, resumes and job search skills. She is active in the local community as both a board member and a mentor for entrepreneurs with EforAll Cape Cod, where she has had the pleasure of meeting passionate local professionals who continue to inspire her with their dedication to their business and love for the local community. She is also a long-standing member of Cape Cod Young Professionals. Kailey was born and raised on Cape Cod and lives in Centerville with her husband. Outside of work, you can find her taking cycle, barre and yoga classes at her favorite local fitness studio and soaking up everything that the Cape has to offer - whether that means off-roading on Sandy Neck, enjoying the sunset at Mayflower Beach or eating seafood from one of her favorite local restaurants.
