My practice involves many aspects of the development industry, including construction, municipal, land use planning, and expropriation law. I act for all levels of the construction pyramid in my contract and negotiation work. In advocacy matters, I appear before the Ontario Superior Court, Provincial Court (provincial offences division), committees of adjustment, and municipal councils in the Greater Toronto Area, and I've been on record at the Ontario Municipal Board, Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, Ontario Land Tribunal, and the Toronto Local Appeal Body. I am a core member of McMillan's National Construction Group. Outside the firm, I am an active member of the Urban Land Institute (Toronto Chapter) Programming Committee, and a Member-at-Large of the Ontario Bar Association's Municipal & Planning Law Section Executive. I became an adjunct professor at the George Brown College ADZ School of Construction Management in 2021, teaching a course in Construction Contract Law.
