Develops case histories and makes recommendations to the Court regarding adult defendants;Conducts intake interviews and provides orientation for new offenders, reviews records, and consults with other professionals to complete investigation/compliance reports, and monitors compliance with court ordered conditions;Conducts defendant urinalysis testing protocols, sample handling, and package handling for shipment to lab;Monitors and enforces court ordered programs and other probation requirements, responds to non-compliance issues by coordinating with treatment providers and notifying the Court by submitting supporting documents and reports;Participates in court hearings by preparing and presenting documentation for non-compliance issues;Maintains detailed records, notes, and files within the department’s case management system and the state Judicial Information System, and prepares reports, statistics, and other documents;Counsels and supports offenders to help them understand and resolve their challenges;Coordinates with other agencies, including law enforcement and treatment providers, to monitor activities and progress of probationers’ court orders;Responds to verbal and written requests for information from other departments and agencies;Interim Probation Officer from February 26th to March 16th.
