Provides strategic leadership and sets direction within the SPS Council for the advancement of psychology in Singapore. Coordinates outreach efforts with 3 key committees: Publicity, Public Education, and Research (>90 committee members). Represents SPS on national & international platforms for psychology (i.e., International Congress of Psychology). Founded the SPS Youth Wing – an integral effort to connect with and prepare the next generation of psychologists.

Elected into the SPS Council for a 2-year term and involved in SPS’ strategic planning for the advancement of psychology in Singapore. Founded SPS’ flagship magazine (“Singapore Psychologist”) and appointed Editor-in-Chief, leading a team of over 20 writers and graphic designers. Coordinated national-level publicity efforts with Publicity sub-committee (>20 members) to promote SPS across multiple platforms (i.e., social media, website, emails).

Consulted on the scientific rigour of Myloh’s digital health solutions using psychological research. Wrote and developed app-based psychoeducation content (e.g., work wellbeing, stress & burnout, positive psychology, & emotional regulation). Managed multiple, dynamic teams of interns to meet key deliverables and project deadlines. Conducted action research with external stakeholders to customize solutions that meet complex business needs.

Police Psychological Services Department (Ppsd)

Conducted selection and assessment work for diverse job roles within SPF, utilising multiple modalities to evaluate candidates’ suitability (e.g., interviews, role-play exercises, assessment centres). Conducted in-depth job analysis to re-evaluate existing job functions and competencies (i.e., KSAOs), comprising literature review, expert interviews, focus group discussions, and thematic analysis. Wrote individualised psychological reports and case notes for interview candidates. Created psychoeducation content for internal communications within SPF (e.g., conflict management, healthy working relationships).

Center For Leadership & Cultural Intelligence (Clci)

Assisted in the conceptualisation of context-based leadership competency frameworks (i.e., Directors and Senior Leaders) for the Singapore Public Service. Conducted 1-to-1 and group briefings on Director leadership models and 360° survey feedback procedures to multiple Ministries and Statutory Boards. Analysed populations of Directors and Senior Leaders to create logical sampling frames and decision pathways for strategic sense-making. Curated and summarized LD resources (e.g., academic literature and meta-analyses) to boost the Center’s collective learning capacity.
