Creative Unicorn was initially being bred as a pet project, fueled by ambition and anger of the failed startup which I was working for previously.Copywriting was in demand for brands and agencies which were looking to stretch their dollars and cents with affordable copywriting services. Creative Unicorn was established to fill that gap. The Unicorns grew from just copywriting to covering events, websites development and putting together digital strategies for clients - Suria KLCC, Malaysia Airports and World Vision Malaysia just to name a few. My responsibilities cover across Operations, Content Management, Marcoms and Branding for clients. I was part of the pioneers responsible in spearheading the new entity under TIME Group of Companies. My job scope covers a variety in marketing communications load and working together with agencies in drafting our GTM roadmap from the brand perspective. Being in a smaller team for this startup has also given me the opportunity to contribute in other areas of the company. Brainstorming and strategizing the growth of new product/service lines has allowed me to view things from the product development angle which I believe is essential in positioning ourselves in customers’ eyes. Also having to go through the necessary rounds of trial and error, dynamic almost extreme changes in strategy, plans and management directions in order to find our feet for this startup has also pushed my level of flexibility and adaptability up a notch.

As Marcom Specialist, I work with various departments in producing marketing communications material for internal employees and customers. And as part of the internal Marketing Communications Division I am responsible in ensuring all products and communications to customers are in line with the company's branding and identity. I also work closely with creative agencies in developing sales and marketing collaterals, power points, brochures, email templates and many more.

Associate, Numbering Management:To plan and manage the prepaid numbering operation workflow from liaising with Technology team on the back-end process to logistic arrangement of these numbers in physical form made available in the mass market. Job included working with the Product Development team ensuring the SIM packs are in line with their development planning. Also worked with the Marketing and special project teams in their product and promotional planning so that the SIM packs are in sync with their go-to-market strategies.Campaign Operation Specialist, CRM:Worked in the CRM team to plan and prioritize month to month campaigns with the Campaign Owners. Job included designing and executing of campaign workflow using simple data manipulation via SQL scripting with the Affinium, Unica System. Participated in the post campaigns evaluation with Campaign Owners to highlight and recommend alternatives for better execution and more impactful future campaigns on targeted subscribers.
