👋 Hi there! I'm Kairn, and I'm passionate about making a positive impact through health and safety education. Currently, I serve as the Project Manager at Absafe, a remarkable health and safety education charity with a unique twist.🛠️ With five years of dedicated experience under my belt at Absafe, I've had the privilege of witnessing the organisation's incredible work first-hand. My journey with Absafe began as an intern, and I was immediately captivated by their mission. I enjoyed it so much that I continued to volunteer, until the world took an unexpected turn with the pandemic. But once normality was restored, I received the call I had been eagerly waiting for - an offer for a full-time, paid position. Naturally, I couldn't say yes fast enough!📚 My role at Absafe offers a diverse range of responsibilities that keep me on my toes. I have the rewarding task of teaching primary school children about health and safety, which is surprisingly enjoyable and incredibly important. Alongside that, I'm involved in recruiting and training volunteers, shaping them into our team of dedicated safety educators. And no, we don't actually "kill" the children – that's just a playful twist you can check out on our social media channels for some fun videos!📢 I also take the lead in managing fundraising campaigns, handling social media, and crafting award submissions that have earned us well-deserved recognition. What sets this role apart is the creative thinking it demands. Finding individuals willing to dedicate their spare time to educate and inspire 10-year-olds requires ingenuity and resourcefulness, qualities I thrive on.🧩 Personally, I thrive when a project or role requires on-the-job learning, allowing me to tackle challenges head-on and improvise solutions. I relish the opportunity to solve problems and contribute to a cause I wholeheartedly believe in.Join me on this journey of impact and discovery at Absafe, where we're shaping a safer and more informed future, one step at a time. Connect with me, and let's make a difference together!#HealthAndSafety #EducationMatters #ImpactDriven #TeamAbsafe
