The company’s activity is the manufacture of Optical Discs Storage Media such as CD-R and DVD-R. Oversee all technical and operational departments within the company (e.g. Molding, Silk-Screening, Maintenance, Human Resources, Quality Control and Dye Lab) in order to archive the annual goals.Responsible for the layout and expansion of the plant.Responsible for the evaluation and purchasing of new equipment.

Supervise staff of 12 people and directed sales, purchasing, materials, quality control, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, accounting and HR functions within high-volume, just in time manufacturing environment. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of 25 injection molding and 15 blow molding machines with 180 employees. Follow up on new projects. The company specialized in HDPE bottles and PP caps and containers for the cosmetics and food industry. Johnson & Johnson, Avon and Procter & Gamble were key customers.

Responsible for providing technical support to the Production department in all aspects of the manufacturing process. Scheduled the Tool-room activities and assist the Quality Assurance Department.The company specialized in custom molding and decoration of complex parts for the automotive, cosmetics and personal care industries.

Responsible for the layout, installation and start up of the first Compact Disc plant in Latin America. Including selecting the equipment, training the personnel and running the operation. Wrote training and maintenance procedures manuals for each activity.

Responsible for scheduling production of 35 injection molding machines and 15 Injection-Stretch-Blow molding machines. Set up molds, adjust parameters and optimize processes.Supervise the Silk Screening, Hot Stamping and Offset Printing areas were also responsibilities of the Plant Engineer.
