My best moments in life are spent creating. I'm the kind of person who sees photo opportunities in the most mundane views and art in a pile of scraps. I believe the workplace is what you make it and do my best to come in to work every day with the best attitude possible. Here are some of my favorite things about what I do!Everything is an opportunity for art: - Being an artist makes me a better coordinator too. I have the skills to manufacture or upcycle exhibit pieces, and I have an eye for the details that elevate entire experiences. - I believe in what could be, rather than what is. When I am put on projects, every simple thing, such as walls, floors, seating, etc. is an opportunity to explore endless expressions. There is a joy in the grit of mundane tasks: -Working outside in the cold before dawn, there is always a moment when the sun comes up and the temperature rises just a little. Even if I'm shoveling snow and my hands are numb, there's always some pride there.-Installing exhibits comes with many challenges and exhausting work, both mentally and physically. But I find when I have spent my day moving heavy items and thinking up creative solutions, I come home feeling the most satisfied and accomplished.
