The Hemispheric Institute gathers artists, scholars, writers, learners, and activists from across the Americas. Performing Arts Workshop provides rigorous arts programming to San Francisco Bay Area youth at preschools, public schools, community centers, transitional housing facilities, and juvenile halls. Employing an artists-in-residency model, the Workshop provides long-term, sequential arts instruction for more than 4,200 young people a year.- Program director, including design, implementation, and evaluation and team management- Successfully expanded PAW’s regional presence and managed relationships with partner organizations and stakeholders, measured by organizational growth and partner feedback.- Led team to successfully develop and implement in-depth arts programming, measured by number of young people served annually.

NEDLC (now called the Insight Center) drives structural, transformative change across three pillars of work, all focused on building economic inclusion and racial equity for people of color, women, immigrants, and marginalized families in the US. - Project management: Directed NNSP’s Creative Economy and Youth Development research initiatives - Industry Consulting: Provided consulting to state and federal policy initiatives and coalitions - Evaluation: Developed evaluation criteria and conducted program evaluations - Written communication skills: Edited and produced the NNSP newsletter; wrote reports, briefs, and articles - Teaching and Learning: Conducted learning sessions and trainings - Collaborated on numerous projects, including the Bay Area Workforce Funding Collaborative, a public/private partnership with fourteen foundations, the State of California’s Employment Development Department (EDD), and private employers to invest in sectoral workforce efforts in the broader San Francisco Bay Area.
