• Led Sustainable Development practice for Ipsos Public Affairs, inclusive of personnel and P&L responsibilities: o Grew revenue over 200% ($3M to $7.5M annually) in past three years under my leadership o Increased profitability by over 500% through improved financial acumen and scaled efficiencieso Managed and cultivated team of 10 full-time and two part-time staff• Worked alongside leadership to develop and execute strategic vision for growth and business development strategy, including identifying new external partners and clients, as well as cultivating and growing existing relationships. • Subject-matter expert and speaker on: gender, research, humanitarian crisis, and impact measurement.• PSEA: Senior advisor for a study on sexual exploitation and abuse by humanitarian aid workers in Lebanon, helped guide research and make recommendations for social programs and service delivery, with a focus on marginalized communities.• UNICEF: led a $2M research program with UNICEF to understand social norms and behavioral drivers of social protection issues across the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa. This work informs UNICEF’s strategic approach to increasing impact by developing programming that addresses the root causes of deeply embedded social issues.• UN Women: Subject-matter expert and research lead for UN Women program focused on assessing the impacts of COVID-19 on gender-based violence. Piloting innovative approaches to conducting sensitive research remotely with ensuring a “do no harm” approach.

• Directed a portfolio of 10-20 mixed-mode research and evaluation projects, with a focus on understanding and assessing impact and elevating the voices of vulnerable populations by conducting research around the world. • Distilled multifaceted research into actionable recommendations that drove improved program outcomes and met the demands of both public and private sector stakeholders. • USAID/Coca-Cola: worked with public-private partnership leadership to build understanding and embed M&E/research practices across a portfolio of projects. Has included: operationalizing an M&E approach for global health delivery projects and reconceptualizing and substantiating the impact that water interventions can have on women’s empowerment. • UN Women: designed and led a mixed-methods study on the gendered realities of displacement for Syrian refugee women in Lebanon, Iraq, and Jordan for the Regional Office of Arab States. Authored three reports based on the research.

• Worked with cross-cultural teams based in MENA, Africa, and South Asia to deliver high-quality social research while building capacity, growing expertise, and transferring knowledge to local offices across the globe. • Vital Voices: assessed the impact that an individual can have on her community and, therefore, the impact that Vital Voices has on women they invest in and their communities, including developing a new methodology for assessing attribution.• IFC and Bank of Palestine: led an evaluation to assess the impact of a pilot businesswomen’s training program in the West Bank and Gaza on direct beneficiaries/businesses, and the Bank of Palestine. Report based on research published in 2018.

• CGAP: Designed and conducted a qualitative and quantitative study evaluating the potential use-case for a mobile money product for Syrian refugees in Jordan and vulnerable Jordanians.• UN OCHA: conducted a study perceptions of humanitarian aid in five countries (Afghanistan, South Sudan, Guinea, Ukraine, and Syrian refugees in Jordan) for the World Humanitarian Summit in May of 2016.

•Analyzed worldwide geopolitical and security events, draft detailed and concise reports for public and private sector clientele. •Synthesized information from multiple sources and develop risk mitigation strategies for global customer-base.

2013 Capstone Project: Developing a Model to Assess Risk in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.•Managed team of seven, including structuring long-term schedule and goals, setting weekly deliverables, assigning tasks, and communicating with client.• Conducted desk review of current political risk methodologies and interviews with Middle East specialists, gathered and collated data for analysis.•Developed a quantitative model for evaluating political risks specific to the Middle East and evaluated effectiveness of its predictive methodologies.

•Worked remotely with McGill student group to plan and coordinate New York-based youth conference on Arab development, handled all logistics including booking venues and communicating with US-based vendors.•Managed all conference volunteers, created work schedules, and assigned tasks.

•Responded to Request for Proposals from various multilateral agencies; researched, wrote, and edited proposal text and created budgets.•Carried out monitoring and evaluation of several United Nations programs, including desk reviews, survey analysis, and data collection.•Analyzed potential investments and returns for projects in sub-Saharan Africa.

•Drafted pleadings on behalf of seven attorneys including: complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests, affidavits, and damages calculations.•Managed caseload of over 100 open claims; adapted and streamlined case system resulting in increased efficiency and favorable decisions.•Liaised and coordinated with client daily, ensuring that all needs were met.

•Administered several US Department of Education federal and state-level discretionary grants, including creating and realizing program budgets.•Coordinated with staff nationwide to ensure grant compliance and effectiveness.•Identified opportunities and authored multiple grants, resulting in over $1million in awards, and an 80% success rate.

•Established the first structured English language program and curriculum, expanding the language capabilities of over 60 French-speaking students.

•Conducted extensive wed-based research to identify potential funding sources, generated a comprehensive searchable database of results. •Drafted and edited grant proposals for submission to private foundations.

•Researched and drafted reports on Islamic financial markets and products.•Identified opportunities and strategies to engage and develop Middle Eastern clients, resulting in an offer of partnership with a Swiss-based private airline.
