Responsible for planning and assigning the feature story and artwork for the Skiff, the TCU print newspaper, each week. Also in charge of providing all related components for the Skiff cover, including the photo, the headline and the teaser. Involved acting as a liaison between the TCU 360 staff and Skiff staff, as well as working with reporters.

Managed 3-4 reporters on the life/culture/development beats of The 109, TCU’s media outlet covering events in the 76109 zip code of Fort Worth. Was responsible for editing stories, assigning deadlines, engaging with reporters and editors, contributing to daily meetings and loosely assisting with new branding/website design.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Covered the Student Government Association for the TCU news media outlet, TCU 360. Live-blogged the weekly meeting, wrote the news stories to re-cap the events of each meeting, wrote additional follow-up pieces and reported on any further events of the organization.
