IRIS, Individuals Respecting Identities and Sexualities, is the University of South Carolina's LGBTQ student organization. As President of IRIS, I corresponded with the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs on a daily basis, working with other organizations, planning large events, and holding weekly meetings for one of the largest student organizations on a campus of 35,000 students.

Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) through the National Science Foundation where I was trained in statistical analysis (using Stata), geographic information system analysis (using ArcGIS), and professional skills such as conference and poster presentations.

Developed system to regulate TEDxYouth Columbia's social media presence, more than doubling Facebook page likes (approximately 198% increase in likes), increasing page reach by 60%, expanding outreach through Twitter and interpersonal interactions, and maintaining Google trends tracking insights. Leveraged Social Media Management tools such as "Buffer" and "Trello" to effectively organize our outreach.

As a research intern, primary responsibilities included assisting policy staff with research in various fields to affect City of Columbia agencies. Developed experience in database management and data security, managing an internal database of sensitive information. Developed skills planning and executing social media campaigns.
