I worked at the student wellness center where I was trained and supervised by a physician assistant. I coordinated patient paperwork, roomed the patient and took their vital signs and chief complaint. I performed basic diagnosting testing including rapid strep and mono tests and urinalyses. I also observed and assisted in minor office procedures and helped to coordinate campus events promoting health topics such as breast cancer awareness and Donate Life.
