After I got back from my semester abroad in Florence, Italy, I wanted to do more with what I learned overseas. Studying abroad really shapes a person, and I wanted to share that with others. This alumni program allows me to apply my personal international experience and skills in attempt to increase education abroad advocacy. I am in charge of developing new ways and ideas of promoting study abroad and helping future study abroad students with whatever information they need. I also bring awareness to international engagement opportunities on my campus through developed leadership and presentation skills.

This summer, I worked on a project management team under the JumpStart Tuscaloosa initiative ran by the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama. My team and I cooperatively devised a comprehensive and cohesive brand marketing strategy across all platforms for a local brewery in Tuscaloosa. Over the 3 month period, we had remote meetings several days of the week, and provided status report updates at the end of each week. I, along with my project managers and associates, conducted research for competitive, demographic behavior, and SWOT analyses, along with a brand audit. We utilized productivity apps such as Trello, Google Suite, Wix and Canva. We created mockup website(s), newsletter(s), and social media post designs that we later presented to our client via a final presentation.
