I am a research scientist and laboratory manager at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. Under Dr. George Davis’ mentorship, our lab studies the molecular basis for human capillary tube formation and we have applied our findings to cells in different diseased states. I have delved into many scientific disciplines, such as public health, laboratory research, and patient-oriented care, to mold myself into a well-rounded scientist. Currently, I am seeking admission into a Ph.D. program which will allow me to grow as a scientist and push me towards my ultimate career goal of a principal investigator of clinical trials.
