Fashion design is something that I have been very passionate about for a long time. I started making clothes about four years ago. Earlier this year, I worked at Hem Over Heels under the title of 'Apprentice'. Whilst working there, I learned new sewing technniques and new things about doing alterations. I have a lot of experience in the fashion field, and have a plethora of skills related to the field. This includes knowledge of how to use a sewing machine, hand-sewing, and crochet. My mission is to get a bachelor's degree in fashion design and to minor in business. In the future, I see myself as a fashion designer for my own company, creating a new line of clothes every season and providing a variety of sustainable clothing to my customers.My leadership philosophy:I believe leadership is centered around forming new connections and serving as an example.I think that leaders need to help others.One of the most important philosophies for a leader to have is that every bad circumstance alsohas a positive outcome.Leaders need to focus on self-improvement and motivate others to do the same.I always try to talk to new people when given the opportunity.A leader focuses on innovation and coming up with new ideas.Leaders should be driven and determined to reach their goals in every circumstance.As a leader I focus on my community, creativity, and personal development.My values:Community is one of the most important values to have as a leader. My definition of having community is building a relationship with those around you. Creativity is one of my values as well. Creativity involves coming up with new ideas and new innovative ways to lead. I often also focus on the value of personal development. This includes the idea of self-impovement. There are always new ways for people to improve and self-imrpovement is always possible. Focusing on this helps me to become a stronger person and not be easily shaken by bad circumstances. This, in turn, helps me become a strong leader as well.My leadership skills and strengths:I focus on being a strength-based leader. According to the Myers Briggs 16 Personalities Assessment, I have a ENFP-T personality. I have a "Campaigner" personality which means that I am enthusiastic, creative, and extraverted. Some of my strengths are being an enthusiastic motivator, making new connections easily, problem-solving, and coming up with new ideas. Overall I am driven and have a bubbly personality that helps me to inspire others.
