Manifested seating inventory, events, packages, promotions and discounts to reach community outreach and sales goals. In addition, I trained and supported the sales and ticket departments, while managing and providing unmatched support to hundreds of ticket & corporate accounts.

As the backbone of the sales department, I serve as a courteous liaisonbetween fans/customers and our production warehouse. I assist in thecompletion of sales orders, IPMs and credit memos in order to achieve aseamless experience for all involved.

In this position I was responsible for reviewing, invoicing and the billing of orders to customers in a timely fashion. Following billing I processed and applied payments to customer accounts.

Through email, phone and in person contact, I was able to tailor race weekend packages to best suit a fan’s desires. This was achieved through the proficiency gained in ticketing software, which allowed me to track spending patterns and demographic information.

As a marketing intern I was responsible for the facilitation and execution of a seamless game day. In order to achieve this I participated in the set up, found participants and organized in game promotions, facilitated fan and promotional giveaways, as well as met with teams and guests of honor for in game presentations. I also assisted in the office where my focus was the preparation of materials for upcoming games and events. I also searched for opportunities for community outreach and involvement.

In this position I assisted in the management of the front desk, trained new assistants and contributed to the successful completion of tasks for advisers.

As an events department intern I gained valuable experience through my participation in the planning and execution of events and exhibitions. For events, I assisted my team in properly preparing for and setting up for, thousands of visitors. I also met with guests of honor and chauffeured the mascot Lugnut to appearances. In office I created contacts in regards to future events and needs, as well as answered calls and emails from both fans and potential partners.

Through this internship I was able to gain first hand experience working in the motor sports industry. Here, I helped plan and set up for events such as driver meet and greets. In race, I supervised the garage and inventoried tires, as well as assisted with car scoring.In addition, I gained ticket sales experience working in the ticket booth.
