Working as both a barista and front of house staff at a specialty coffee shop in Whitley Bay. My role mainly consists of managing the floor of a 20 table restaurant with a small staff and working on a Sanremo espresso machine, as well as assisting in kitchen prep and potwashing. In my role, I provide excellent customer service and specialist knowledge surrounding the field of specialty coffee such as different drinks, roasts, origins and traceability, product knowledge and knowledge of how a small local business is ran.
