-Managing 20 organization members and communicating with Pediatric Cardiologists at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital to ensure the progress of the Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) and Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) subteam projects and create future projects through collaboration with clinical specialists and professors at the University of Florida. Past Projects: • 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 (𝗔𝗦𝗗) 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹: Managed a subteam of 10 members to transform patients' CT scan files into 3D models (via 3D Slicer and Meshmixer programs) that were 3D-printed and used by clinicians on the unit as patient education and visualization tools.• 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘆𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮 (𝗦𝗩𝗧) 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹: Managed a subteam of 5 members to create a 3D-printed heart model of SVT that displays differences in electrical pathways (Arduino and LED integration) between a normal heart and a diseased heart with an accessory pathway.

-Leading a team of 10 members and working closely with a Pediatric Cardiologist at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital to create an educational repository of 3D-printed heart disease condition models displaying common congenital heart defects to be used for patient education.-Utilizing 3D Slicer and Meshmixer to digitally segment, smooth, and slice heart models based on patient CT scans, highlighting a Double Outlet Right Ventricle and a Sinus Venosus Atrial Septal Defect.

-Teamed up with physicians, nurses, and child-life specialists to create engineering devices that positively impact the patient, doctor, and overall healthcare experience. Shadowed and contributed to the Surgical, MRI Mechanical, and Cardiothoracic design team projects.-Worked on the surgical team to create model organs of the kidney and gallbladder to aid medical resident education by mimicking cholecystectomy and laparoscopic kidney transplant procedures in an effort to increase positive patient outcome.-Collaborated with the Cardiothoracic subteam to create a 3D-printed heart disease condition model displaying a Double Outlet Right Ventricle.

-Taught adult and youth painting classes to groups of up to 40 participants, gave hands on advice and instruction while simultaneously demonstrating how to create the chosen art piece. -Organized and prepped classes, managed the store front, handled payments and bookings, prepared and cleaned necessary equipment, developed time management and organizational skills to ensure a streamlined event schedule.

-Engaging in engineering design teams to manufacture personalized 3D-printed assistive devices including a tool to help recipients get dressed with lower mobility, using Blender to digitally size hand prosthetics to properly fit recipients.-Employing electrical soldering techniques to adapt toys for children with upper-limb differences.

-Managed the organization's social media platforms including an Instagram account with over 2,000 followers.-Collaborated with other Public Relations committee members to maintain social media presence and help promote the organization within UF.

-Worked on a team of 10 other freshman engineers to discuss, design, and coordinate events with the purpose of integrating the new cohort of over 50 members into a professional and selective student organization within the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering.-Designed presentation slides and graphics to promote club and committee events.

-Selected among the top 2% of applicants to the University of Florida.-Developed qualitative research practices while working on an International Research Project exploring global health disparities.-Collaborated with teams from various countries and conducted local interviews regarding experiences with the United States healthcare system; Presented findings at the 2022 Spring Undergraduate Research Symposium.

-Disseminated information about art within the Honors community.-Worked with four other student leaders and an honors engineering advisor to organize events that gave exposure to the intersection of art within a wide variety of disciplines.

-Employed quantitative fluorescent imaging, nanofabrication, electrophysiology, computational modeling, and genome editing tools to tackle important problems in cancer, cardiovascular malfunction, tissue regeneration, and brain disorders to develop innovative technologies and medicines to improve human health.-Performed wet-lab and molecular biology scientific research, maintained and established various human cancer cell lines using aseptic cell culture techniques, checked cell confluency daily using a fluorescent confocal microscope, participated in virus harvesting and DNA amplification, contributed to Electrophysiology Literature Review Paper.

-Acted as Logistics Manager, Campus Outreach Director, Marketing and Communications Director, and Community Enrichment Ambassador.-Utilized project management tools in the planning and execution of UF Honors involvement events with a turnout of over 200 students; Performed daily tasks including submitting budget forms, keeping meeting minutes, and contacting venues.-Employed strong communication skills with UF faculty and student organization leaders in the planning of large scale program events including the 2022 Honors Involvement Conference, Honors Formal, and Luminaire.

-Assisted with homework, crafted personalized study plans, and created practice problems in the academic advancement of students struggling in STEM.-Resulted in a student going from a D in Algebra to an A within one semester.
