I am a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of New Mexico. I am currently completing my predoctoral residency/internship in Neuropsychology at Rush University Medical Center. Broadly, my primary research interests include anxiety disorders (with a focus on social anxiety), emotion regulation, and interpersonal relationships, particularly how each pertains to cognitive functioning. In my clinical work, my primary interests are neuropsychology, health psychology, and anxiety disorders. I've engaged in a variety of practicum opportunities including adult neuropsychological testing at UNM and private practice, the NM VA, and New Heart Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. In addition to my research and clinical work, I have a passion for teaching at the university level and have taught 4 courses as a graduate student instructor thus far. I also work with undergraduates and recent graduates as a research mentor.
