Worked as a website designer and digital marketing specialist for a digital marketing company. Designed and marketed websites for many companies in a variety of business sectors. Built websites on WordPress, Wix and Squarespace. Responsible for the regular maintenance, upkeep and updates on numerous sites. Created and optimized hundreds of ads on Google Ads and Facebook. Optimized numerous sites to improve Google rankings (SEO).

Lived abroad in Edinburgh, UK. While there, I worked several temporary jobs at places including George Watson's College, Royal Dick Vet Small Animal Hospital and Eva & Eva Ring Sales. I then spent four months backpacking the rest of Western Europe (August 2016 - December 2016). While living abroad and travelling, I started and managed a travel and food blog, Southern Abroad.

Sole coordinator of all volunteer efforts for a camp serving nearly 11,000 children and adults with special needs and challenging illnesses. Responsible for identifying needs within the camp and recruiting volunteers to fill these needs. Organized all volunteer records, paperwork, and national background checks in an easy to access, yet confidential manner. Communicated with several hundred volunteers on a daily basis. Revitalized the volunteer program and method of recruiting and organizing volunteers. These changes doubled the previous year’s logged volunteer hours and quadrupled the total number of volunteers in the volunteer database in six month’s time.

Greeted and interacted with all guests including high profile guests at a five star resort. Created receipts for all activities and billed guests accordingly. Managed guest accounts online using specialized computer programs. Created personalized activity schedules and itineraries for guests. Responded to last minute changes and communicated changes with staff and guests.

Directed all horse operations at a summer camp. Responsible for care and maintenance of a herd of 26 horses. Planned and executed daily arena lessons and trail rides for 300 youth and adults for each summer of employment. Completed weekly rider evaluations and horse assignments for each camper and adult. Reworked feeding program and several other aspects of the horse program resulting in the camp saving multiple thousands of dollars per summer while offering better care for both horses and campers.
