Hello, my name is Kait Ware. I am 21 years old and am currently studying Accounting at Salt Lake Community College. I am an accountant and administrative assistant for Star Step Alta Coatings, LLC, an industrial coatings shop here in Salt Lake. When I began the job, I lacked formal accounting experience, but through hard work and many learning curves, I found a career path I truly enjoy and thrive in.I am a full-time student as well as a full-time employee. Although, at times, it can be challenging to manage my time, the feeling of accomplishment I gain by working hard makes it all worth it. I have years of experience working in the restaurant industry. I have worked as a hostess, server's assistant, food runner, and expo. Moreover, I have spent my time helping others through volunteer work. I have worked with children at the church daycare, participated in the National Down Syndrome Society's Buddy Walk, and volunteered at soup kitchens. I take great pride in my work ethic and strive to make those around me feel heard and seen.
