I have been interested in all things communication-related since taking my first communication class at Slippery Rock University. My focus is in new media, however, I have a wide knowledge of digital production with Adobe Software. I am committed to the work I create due to my passion for the way social media and digital design make the world work. I currently work as a pharmacy technician for Giant Eagle Pharmacy and actively work in a team setting and communicate with patients daily. Through my experiences, I have become proficient and competent at Microsoft Office, Adobe Software, Wix, AP style writing, teamwork, organization, time management, communication, flexibility, and leadership. During my time studying Integrated Marketing Communication, I have gain experience through in class assignments and real-world clients. In the classroom, some work that I am most proud of is creating a brand style guide for a fictional company, creating a media kit that included press releases, a blog, and a brochure, and creating and updating a journalistic style blog. Some work that I am most proud of that I have done for clients is working as a social media intern for Willow & Grace Boutique and creating and updating a website for AWRCS: A True American Woods Racing Series, as well as creating promotional material for the company. I am currently seeking a job within my field of study that will allow me to expand my knowledge on all thing’s communication related.
