Environmental Scientist for Air Force Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) 10/2020 - Current•Serve as part of a management consultant team delivering diverse business solutions to the Air Force Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) team. •Advise and assist with ongoing BRAC environmental cleanup, property transfer, post-transfer management, contract surveillance, planning, programming, budgeting and execution (PPBE), environmental restoration liability reporting, and data reporting and financial management. •Leverage environmental background to provide headquarters support in developing, maintaining and monitoring metrics to track progress towards OSD goals at the program level. •Ensure compliance of reporting with Air Force environmental policies and guidance including the Air Force Instruction (AFI) and Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP) manuals. •Provide daily programmatic support under limited supervision in the areas of data entry, data analysis, reporting and other general management tasking.Senior Consultant - Environmental Specialist for Federal Aviation Administration 07/2019 - 10/2020•Facilitate the growth of the Environmental Cleanup (ECU) Program on Annette Island for the FAA by developing, summarizing, and communicating environmental risks and chemical analysis of previous field sample results. •Provide technical assistance to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), reviewing Direct Cost Estimates to ensure FAA’s estimate of environmental liability reference compliance. Analyze quotes to ensure accuracy and currency. •Provides data for establishing standard costs for components.•Create and regularly update multiple communication tracking excel spreadsheets for FAA.•Evaluate and interpret audio and video dictation, maintaining accuracy, recognizing terminology and discrepancies, and proper formatting to deliver meeting minutes to the FAA by established deadlines.

-Provide support for Water Resources Restoration Program on the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Reservation (ORR).-Collection of various environmental media and data to include surface water, ground water, soil, sediment, water levels, various field parameters, and inspections.-Field procedure compliance, field equipment calibration, field documentation (logbooks, forms, etc.).-Assist Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in conducting routine environmental sampling, monitoring, inspection, and data collection activities.-Update and manage master list of government owned equipment, coordinate calibration intervals and maintenance when required. Provide assistance with trouble shooting and deployment of equipment.

•Conduct Index of Biotic Integrity (IBI) samples and Reservoir Fisheries Assemblage Index (RFAI) surveys across the Tennessee River Valley.•Co-lead gill netting surveys throughout reservoirs within the Tennessee Valley.•Employ multiple techniques including seining, backpack and boat electro fishing for collection and identification of fish species.•Collaborate with multiple state and federal agencies to complete IBI surveys including U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.
