I am a strong, passionate woman who hopes to make a difference with her writing and/or editing. I'd like to explore non-traditional opportunities that use my writing, editing and critical thinking skills in an advocacy-driven way. I am committed to social justice in whatever job I might hold. I have strong communications skills -- both written and verbal -- and I am not afraid to speak up for what I believe is right even if I make a mistake, especially when seeking an open and inclusive workplace. My main interests are politics and civic engagement, literature, movies and long runs. I am especially committed to high ideals in journalism and in life.
