My name is Kaiwen Chen. Before graduating from National Taiwan University, I worked as a software engineering intern for the past two years. Currently, I have graduated from Northeastern University with a Master's degree in computer software engineering.Over the past few years, I have gained significant work experience and made substantial progress in enhancing my coding skills. I have a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures, and I am proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Golang.My first job as a software engineer was at Moying Technology, an autonomous robot company. During my time there, I made significant improvements to the algorithm used for testing robot performance. Leveraging the Robot Operating System, I developed a website that allowed for remote control and performance testing of the robots. This innovation resulted in significant time savings and improved testing efficiency.Later, I taught myself web development and started designing websites for various groups and programs at my university. One notable project involved renovating the website for the National Taiwan University Accelerator Program. Using cutting-edge frameworks like React, I implemented video streaming and chatbot functionality. This experience was pivotal in my skill development, and it led me to secure a position as a full-stack engineer just two months later.Currently, I am working as a part-time full-stack engineer at Elmntri while also pursuing side projects related to cloud computing, quality control, and database management. I thrive on challenges and actively seek opportunities to work on projects that push me outside of my comfort zone.
