• Design Engineering Intern under Dyson Haircare Department:
• Designed and developed test rigs for durability testing of prototype hair straighteners.
• Helped to build and assemble new attachments for Dyson Airwrap.
• Participated in Dyson Designathon Competition, designing a new attachment for Airwrap that helps to dry the scalp and prevent scalp-related diseases. Our design came in second place overall. Skills Developed:
• Learnt how to use Arduino microcontroller programming and NX CAD software.
• Experience with manufacturing and prototyping processes such as CNC laser cutting and 3D printing.

• Involved in assisting and directing workshops on design innovation and the design process to participants from varying age groups.
• Developed presentation slides that broke down the design process into 4 stages (Discover, Define, Develop, Deliver). Skills Developed:

• Amongst top 10% selected to undergo 9 months of training in Officer Cadet School.
• Commissioned as an Officer (Second Lieutenant) under the infantry vocation in March 2020.
• Served as Platoon Commander, 6th Company, BMTC School 4, in charge of leading and training recruits undergoing Basic Military Training.
