I've been thinking since I was a kid: what am I going to be when I grow up? Scientist? Teacher? Or a doctor.? This is probably the answer of every Chinese child.As I grew up and entered Zhixin High School, where I met a lot of great friends and got me thinking about my future college major, I loved logic, math, and creativity. So I entered South China Normal University and majored in Information and Computing Science. Gradually I realized that if I wanted to learn more technical skills, I had to have more solid language skills, so I took a second degree in English.When I finished all my university courses in my junior year, I started to look for internship opportunities. I always think that the theoretical knowledge in Chinese school education is different from the knowledge that is needed to realize the output in the actual work. So the best way to understand what I can do, what I like to do, and how I want to do it is to go out of the campus and into the real work.During my internship I worked in three different careers, which included game numerical planning, web development and BI data development. I found that I was able to perform well in each of these jobs, but at the same time I realized that I could probably try my hand at full-stack development.However at that time I think i'm still lacking of experience on development. So I decided to enter Accenture for further practise on different developing skills. During those three years on Accenture, I have gained a lot of improvement in my coding skills, and I myself have gone from being a beginner Android programmer to being the Android team leader of a new project. After watching the project being built step by step from 0, I sincerely feel proud of being a programmer!
