I was in charge of content research and planning for the company's digital and social media platforms. I also directed, shot, edited, and produced all video-related content such as ads, product videos, and social media videos (Reels, Tiktok, Youtube). My position at Kapas Living put me in between creatives and marketing, thus allowing me to use my knowledge in both fields to produce content that resonates with audiences.

This year will see the festival come back to physical form, and I’ve joined the core team to help with the publicity of the festival. My main tasks include liasing with media and publishing outlets to spread the word, schedule interviews, and write pres releases about the festival and its various programmes.The SeaShorts Film Festival was originally founded by award-winning filmmaker Tan Chui Mui in 2017 as an event to screen Southeast Asian short films and it has since grown into a notable regional film event. In its 2017 to 2019 editions, it has been held in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Malacca, in Malaysia.

This was their second virtual event and this time around I volunteered to be part of the tech team. I was in charge of assisting the hospitality manager with booking and organizing guest accomodations.
