As a Multimedia Journalist, I produce, shoot, and edit content for social impact and justice such as short to full-length documentaries and social media content (IG reels, TikTok, Youtube shorts). I also provide support to our educational arm, running camps and workshops on journalistic content creation. Some daily tasks include scriptwriting, video editing, content planning and development, production planning, and shooting.

With a focus on documentary film and photography

I was in charge of content research and planning for the company's digital and social media platforms. I also directed, shot, edited, and produced all video-related content such as ads, product videos, and social media videos (Reels, Tiktok, Youtube). My position at Kapas Living put me in between creatives and marketing, thus allowing me to use my knowledge in both fields to produce content that resonates with audiences.

This year will see the festival come back to physical form, and I’ve joined the core team to help with the publicity of the festival. This was their second virtual event and this time around I volunteered to be part of the tech team. I was in charge of assisting the hospitality manager with booking and organizing guest accomodations.
