I am the Founder of Design Rocket, a design consultancy that partners with startups to deliver sticky and relevant user experiences to customers. I built the firm from the ground up, wearing many hats ranging from client acquisition, and team management to project creative direction. Now, Design Rocket is an established design firm, that serves 50+ clients in the Bay Area and New York. As Founder of Design Rocket, I have:- Led the design of several first-generation products that were pivotal for several startup’s growth and fundraising, including BetterUp, Branching Minds, FutureAdvisor, Learn with Homer, Natero, Tinkergarten, Tuva Labs, and Xpand - Served unicorn clients including Allbirds, Alto Pharmacy, BetterUp, FutureAdvisor, The Muse, and Cora- Built a scalable remote team to tackle client projects hiring over 20 employees- Awarded Indigo Gold Award for the redesign of Cora.life, an eCommerce website that delivers women’s health products. - Showcased our Brand Identity Design for Skift (a travel trends company) at the Global Travel Forum Conference, whose attendees include: Expedia, Hilton, and Travelocity CEOs.- Served as a mentor to EDGE EdTech and TechStars Accelerator startups

I led the design and creative direction for Lowe’s, delivering their new iOS and Android mobile apps. I crafted the vision for the app and managed junior resources to execute the designs and provide detailed specifications to the engineering team. As Lowe’s houses over 100,000 products, we created an experience that enabled users to easily search and browse on a mobile environment.

I managed a team of four Designers to redesign Knewton’s college readiness adaptive online platform. Our focus was to improve usability and learning experience of Knewton’s next generation of cloud products. We followed sprint-based agile product development process, to improve core platform usability and launch feature enhancements at a steady cadence.

I developed web, mobile, tablet and retail solutions for Fortune 500 clients including Nike and Converse. I led the conceptualization & interaction design process for several large-scale projects, gaining specialty in the following areas: e-commerce, data visualization and mobile application development. A few projects of note include the re-design of revolutionary NIKEiD online product customization tool and the design of Nike+( personal digital sports tracking tool).

I built complex system designs with the use of specific interaction tools such as site maps, logic flows, wireframe schematics and interactive prototypes. I pitched digital brand strategy to gain new business from prospective clients such as Walmart. I collaborated on the redesign of HBO.com online experience & design, introducing a new content management system. I created a unified brand presence for Verizon & Verizon Wireless.

Designed consumer electronics and household products for consultancy clients. Determined client and user needs through hands-on research, and developed brand identity for new consumer product company Prepara.
