Government-funded physiotherapy services that focused on exercise and education for individuals with chronic conditions. The model included delivering group physiotherapy services, such as GLA:D Canada. Part of my placement project was to create promotional materials for the clinic (see below for examples)

Loved my 7-week neurological rehabilitation placement at Connect Communities Hamilton. Connect is a unique residential environment for individuals living with brain injury or stroke. The focus at Connect is on promoting community participation and establishing goals that are meaningful to each resident. An additional part of my placement was to create infographics and videos to support staff learning (see below for examples).

Thankful to have completed my first orthopedic placement at the David Braley Sports Medicine & Rehab Centre on McMaster campus. The population we served included students, staff, and community members of the Hamilton area. Proficient in techniques including:- Functional screening and objective assessments- Exercise prescription, including creating hydrotherapy protocols- Manual therapy - mobilizations, massage, soft tissue release- Using outcome measurements and electronic charting- Modalities such as ultrasound, muscle stimulation, and shockwave therapy

Revved Up is an initiative started by the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen's for those with mobile, developmental, or cognitive disabilities. Participants come to the Revved Up lab bi-weekly, where they are instructed by students to complete adapted workouts and meet with other participants. As a supervisor, my roles include designing exercise programs and supporting volunteers and participants. This position is part of my placement in the "Exercise, Aging, and Disability" course at Queen's.

Worked at Queen’s University’s most popular student-run café on campus. Awarded “Staff of the Month” for January 2019, chosen out of 135 service staff.

Meeting with students weekly to tutor them in various subjects, including statistics and biology.

Working and ensuring successful service at the Queen's fitness centre. Part of my duties involve opening and closing the facilities, setting up for special events, and enforcing gym code of conduct.

Working at a youth emergency shelter in Toronto with a focus on harm reduction. My roles included admin work, as well as runnning recreation programs and providing personal support for the youth who stayed there or used the services. Naloxone administration trained.

Working at Amsterdam Brewing Company's Leaside location as a server. The position involves a large knowledge of craft beer and its preparation, as well as the ability to suggest pairings to guests.
