Responsible for development of geochemical mapping programmes at SGU, involved in several international projects. Also involved in research and international relations. Until 2010 SGUs National Delegate at EuroGeoSurveys, and contact person regarding issues related to geological data at county board administrations. Has a broad overall insight in bedrock and quaternary geology, as well as geophysics. Has been SGUs representative in the EuorGeoSurveys Geochemistry Expert Group and chair of the National IGCP working comittee.Treasurer of the IUGS-GEM group 2008 - Member of the EU Ad Hoc Working group on raw materials.Chair of the organizing comittees of SGA 2013 (Uppsala, Sweden) and FEM 2013 and 2023 (Levi, Finland), active in different capacities in FEM 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023 organizing and steering committes. Chair of the UNFC Nordic Project Team 2015-2017.Providing support regarding the Critical Raw Materials Act of EU to the government during and after the Swedish EU precidency 2023.Specialties: Quality control of geochemical data, interpretation of soil- and biogeochemical data for environmental and mineral exploration, GIS.
