Working as Cabin Crew required knowledge in flight safety and security, first aid, firefighting, dangerous goods in air transportation and emergency training, all according to requirements by Aviation authorities.I took care of our guests' service on board (incl. service in SAS Business cabins, which has enhanced my customer service skills). As I was one of the only faces/representatives of the company that the guest experienced during the journey, I am taking a big part in providing an unforgettable SAS experience. I volunteered as a so-called galley position on long-haul flights. This meant that I was responsible for organising the service and service flow for 230+ Plus and Economy passengers. As a Sales Ambassador my goal was to develop and innovate the selling onboard and the selling culture among our 3400+ cabin colleagues. Together with the team, we were sharing our knowledge and hands-on experience with the onboard product management team and presented our ideas through versatile workshops, meetings and digital tools. We were also testing new procedures, and products and assessed how these worked on board. This was a task that I was doing alongside my regular work as cabin crew.

As a mentor, I drew on my own experiences – but above all listened to students and bringing them to reflect on how best to structure and manage their individual student lives. Mentoring meetings took place as group sessions and 1-to-1 meetings with individual students, along with e-mail contact.I functioned as the Coordinating Mentor for Service Management programme, which means that I had the responsibility of the practicals of the mentor activities of the programme (185 students).
