Hello Readers!I am Kakoli Roy, Creator of alluring handmade products at Kakoli's Corner. I am a full-time homemaker, mother of two beautiful daughters and wife to the most amazing man.I learnt to crochet at a very young age - thanks to my late grandmother. It was then I started making tiny handmade products like hats, socks, headbands, etc. I was living in Tarakeshwar (a tourist place in West Bengal) during those days.As time passed by, I got involved in my studies, got married at 19, and then moved to Bhandara (a small town in Maharashtra) with my husband. New city, new people, new language and then life happened - I lost touch with this beautiful hobby of mine.After almost 20 years, because of this lockdown, I started getting a lot of "me-time". It was a sudden break from my busy schedule that inspired me to look back to my past self and realise what I was missing.I had not forgotten my crocheting skills. I started creating handmade earrings and keychains. My daughters suggested that I should start selling these products.
