The idea was to consult with big brands, identify and effectively frame their product or tech need and then find the best possible external talent to design or build it. The UVP was ensuring the right talent was working on the right problems at the right price. This brought great efficiency and velocity to the product consulting space. nineten had some great clients like Whole Foods Market, AB-InBev, and LG Electronics.

Outbox was a Peter Thiel backed startup founded by Evan Baehr and Will Davis. I advised Evan and Will at the earliest stages of the company's growth and helped with branding and product MVP ideation, design and development.

Key early contributor to this innovative startup that we spun out of frog design to bring to market the Reaction Housing System™ – the world’s first flexible, reusable, rapid-setup shelter system that addresses the housing gap present in the first 45 days of an emergency event where people are displaced from their homes. Responsibilities included fundraising, strategy, strategic alliances, and business development.

At frog, I led business development and major accounts primarily in the mobile, retail, and lifestyle sectors and founded, led, and built strategic innovation engagements with global brands such as Nokia, Best Buy, T-Mobile, LG Electronics, and SK Telecom.

I returned to Opera Software for a second tour in Austin on a consulting engagement to meet specific strategic business objectives in the US market around mobile and desktop browser distribution partnerships.

Sales and business development of Flash-based mobile solutions to Mobile Operators and MVNO's in the America's region. Worked closely with customers, partners and internal teams to customize solution and develop business model and contract to support it.My largest contribution was forming and leading a landmark Verizon relationship and selling in Flash-Lite technology that VZW used to build a differentiated mobile UX offering.I left Macromedia immediately after the Adobe acquisition.

Third person hired on commercial side of the business and second American in company. Employee #22.-Business Development, Strategic Alliances, and Revenue responsibility for desktop and mobile browser products. Led a global team of 12 people.-Developed new browser licensing business, technology and distribution relationships, and global business partnerships.-Developed Opera's US office in Austin, TXLargest contribution was co-inventing and closing partnership with Google to introduce a first-ever built-in search capability within the browser UI/ chrome. This initiative forged Opera's main desktop and mobile browser revenue stream and underscored its reputation as the most innovative and capable web browser product. All browsers have since adopted search-thru-browser model and it's responsible for the vast majority of web browser revenue across the industry.
