After over 40 combined years of professional agency experience, the inimitable Catherine Bourdon and I embarked on a new journey – launching The Fold Branding Collective in September 2022. The Fold emerged from our desire to collaborate with creatives, and clients, vibrating on shared frequency of exploration, respect, and passion for their craft. Undoubtedly, the most authentic and beautiful creation follows.I bring with me a proven ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions, both big-picture thinking and detailed execution – all the while creating long-lasting client relationships. I believe a successful project results from true collaboration between client and their creative partner, open communication with suppliers, thorough industry research and insight – and some calculated risks to push boundaries and break the norm. My leadership, creative problem-solving, organization and passion to succeed help bring our clients’ visions to life – on brief, on time, and on budget. While historically a large portion of my client base has included retail/lifestyle – namely Ivanhoe Cambridge shopping center brands like Oakridge, Southgate, and Mapleview – my diverse client list has also included Saxx Underwear, Rogers, Ethical Funds, VTech, Suki’s, Cambie Village BIA, OneCoffee, JD Sweid Foods, Anthony Gismondi and numerous other FMCPG’s with a focus on beverage brands including Lonetree Cider, Granville Island Brewing, Whistler Beer, and a variety of wine labels with Icon Fine Sprits & Wine.Most recently, just prior to starting The Fold, I have had the absolute pleasure of working on numerous strategy and F&B projects for various Fairmont Hotel & Resorts clients (Fairmont Olympic, Fairmont Château Lake Louise, Fairmont Kea Lani, Fairmont San Francisco, Fairmont Royal York, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, and Fairmont Orchid to name a few), as well as several exciting real estate development projects. Prior to completing my BCIT Diploma of Marketing Management, my journey began within the service + hospitality world, and my passion for the industry very much remains. It would be an understatement to say that I jump an any chance to work within the field, and that all of my travel consists of searching out the coziest and most authentic cocktail dens ;)
