I never thought that I would live in the tundra that is North Dakota, but I am so glad I did. I've learned to be patient, speak up for myself, the importance of flight safety, and what clothes to wear when it's -70F outside. The accomplishments I am most proud of in life are my Girl Scout Gold Award, creating a helicopter student tutoring center run by CFI applicants, and graduating Magna Cum Laude. UND is a phenomenal place to meet some amazing people and make lasting connections. I believe I have done just that. I absolutely love helping my peers and am elated when I see them succeed. My goal in life is to continue to help others, become an accomplished helicopter pilot and stay heavily involved in flight safety. Without safety, there is no aviation.
