A trained mathematician, Linux admin, web developer, and Social Network Analysis researcher. I hold a Bachelor in Mathematics and a Master Science in Informatics and Computational Mathematics. A free software advocate since the early 2000s, I was Editor-in-Chief of Greek "Linux Format" and later "Linux Inside" magazine, a bimonthly publication about free software and open source in Greek. The publication has stopped in 2013, but the website and our friendly forum are fully functional and very much alive at https://www.linuxinsider.gr.From 2011 to 2018, I served as project manager/editor/web dev/sysadmin, and then as CTO at New Media Network Synapsis S.A. Along with Marios Tsalkidis, we developed and maintained iefimerida.gr, the best news website in Greece, as well as bovary.gr, a women-oriented website. Meanwhile, I worked as Technical Project Manager at OgilvyOne Worldwide Athens in 2013-2014. Programming and Social Network Analysis are my passions. I happily develop Social Network Visualizer (SocNetV), a tool for the analysis and visualization of social networks, using C++ and the open-source Qt toolkit. SocNetV runs on Linux, Mac, and Windows.
