cocotb is a FOSS framework allowing Python to be used as a testbenching language. Daily user since June 2018. Regular contributor since June 2019. Maintainer duties including reviewing pull requests; moderating discussions, issues, and the community; assisting users and fixing bugs.

General responsibilities included: * Designing new components in VHDL. * Verifying designs using cocotb. * Developing baremetal C tests for hardware testing and integration. * Contributing to internal VHDL reuse libraries. * Developing and maintaining internal Python project automation tools.Designed, developed, simulated, and hardware tested a real-time video processor and multiple sensor interfaces in VHDL. Developed a high-performance C++ library for writing bit-accurate FPGA models. Used that library to model an existing image processing firmware design. Developed course to teach Firmware and Verification Engineers how to test and verify HDL designs with cocotb. Developed a companion verification framework based on concepts from UVM.Worked with Xilinx and Microsemi FPGAs. SCRUM. Jenkins. Github. The works.

Assisted a PhD candidate with his thesis project which included porting FreeRTOS to a new architecture and setting up a GCC cross-compiler for that target.

Assisted in developing tools for data analysis and performed testing on new electrical components qualifying them for space-flight.
