Engineering Physical Science Technician Ii
Current-Create signing, striping and pavement marking maintenance projects across CDOT's Region 3.-Communicate and direct work with contractors, project engineers and Inspectors.-Assign sign projects to Region 3 Sign Crews and local CDOT maintenance patrols.-Research guidelines and regulations.-Experienced in SignCad.-Design signs per MUTCD standards, Colorado Sign Design Manual, and CDOT S-Standards.-Approve sign requests from local agencies.-Approve special use permits for sign instillations in CDOT Right of Way.-Communicate with external customers and address their concerns with signing and striping. -Communicate with internal customers and address their sign requests and create a plan for instillation or maintenance of signs and pavement markings.-Use Google applications daily i.e. Drive, Gmail, Sheets etc.-Well versed in Microsoft suites, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.-Create excel/google sheets spreadsheets.-Create Formulas in excel/sheets to track data.-Read and interpret a variety of engineered plans.
