I was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania and am currently finishing my senior year at Susquehanna University. I'm hoping to find employment in a field where I am able to use the skills I've learned throughout my finance studies and apply them to real life situations. Most recently I have assisted the Chief Financial Officer of Bridge Gap Engineering with accounting and financial tasks such as creating journal entries, general ledgers, adjusting entries, monthly financial PowerPoints and payroll. I hope to continue building upon my knowledge of this field and using what I've learned with Bridge Gap in my future career. Prior to my current position, I interned with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation performing manual labor which gave me a new appreciation for the patience, dedication, and hard work that skilled laborers use every day, as well as respecting their work which requires using vigorous safety protocols. My other previous work experience has helped me gain skills in customer service, time management, and teamwork which are all things that I look forward to utilizing with my future employer. Additionally, in high school my friends and I started a lawn care business which helped me learn the ins and outs of entrepreneurship and client relations.When I'm not studying or attending classes I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee for the Susquehanna Riverhucks. I also recently studied abroad in Brisbane, Australia which has also expanded my worldview and cultivated a love of travel, which I hope to do more of in the future.
