I am a current mechanical engineering student at Portland State University. I love learning new things, particularly when it applies to understanding how systems work and why things are designed in certain ways. Because of this, I rarely pass the opportunity to ask important questions or acquire a new skill. Having taken on many new projects and explorations into different fields, I've learned how to familiarize myself with new (and sometimes very daunting) information efficiently, while also communicating through different disciplines without unnecessary jargon. As a result of my past experiences (especially within the Portland State Aerospace Society, FIRST Robotics, and freelance 3D printing work) I've also become knowledgeable in a range of CAD programs such as Solidworks, OnShape, and Fusion360.While I am still discovering what my passions are in my career, I'm not afraid to try new things to see what fits. Ideally, my long-term goal is to serve my local community through STEAM by either founding a non-profit makerspace or working in sustainability. If you have CAD work that needs to get done, or if you have anything else you want to talk about, I'm always happy to chat so don't be afraid to get in touch!
