• Utilized CoPath to register surgical specimens and prepare them for histology laboratory staff for microscopic study by Pathologists for medical diagnoses. • Prepared and cut frozen sections with a CryoStat and performed the H&E stain process for immediate microscopic review by Pathologists to report to surgeon waiting on the results in the operating room. • Performed cytology procedures to prepare histology slides and samples on fine needle aspirate procedures, such as pancreas, lung, thyroid, lymph node, endobronchial ultrasound, and navigational bronchoscopy procedures in various clinical areas of the hospital such as the GI Lab, CT Special Procedures, and the operating room. Stained the aspirate slides with PAP and Wright-Geimsa staining methods for pathologist review. • Prepared gathered histological paraffin block specimens to send out to various labs ordered by hospital medical staff for molecular analysis for further clinical diagnoses.
