I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Texas, and plan on graduating in May of 2023. I’m also interested in internship opportunities. My aspirations towards a future career as an engineer began when I was in sixth grade. It first started with my first journal being filled with designs that I wanted to build. In this journal I would design things like hoverboards, military jets, etc. My favorite design I did was a hoverboard, but over time my design changed. Throughout middle and my freshman year of high school I did research to change my design. For example, my first idea was to use a magnet that repels the materials in concrete or create a sidewalk that is made of metal, however that project was too expensive to fund. I came up with an idea where we used miniature fans to make the boards hover, and I also researched how fast the fans have to move to lift the weight of an average person. Due to these experiences, I'm pursuing my dream of designing and building military weapons such as, suits, cars, and jets.
