Special Events:• Assist the Events staff with internal and/or external events that occur in the McKnight Center.• Help secure event logistics including decorations, catering needs, scheduling, programming, etc.• Take a lead role in hospitality services for performers and additional cast and crew• Help with communication with vendors, OSU campus partners, and internal departments event set up, check-in,parking, etc.• Attend periodic events and provide onsite supervision.• Assist with internal reporting – providing information for internal production and follow up documents.Event Sales and Rental Activities:• Assist with client coordination to ensure the best experience for the clients’ event.• Supervise elements of the event including set-up, tear-down, linen rental, caterers, and entertainment.• Other duties as assigned.Provide administrative support to the events team by:• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of event materials and supplies• Create vendor and media credentials in collaboration with Events team• Assist with answering the phone to ensure efficient response to customer needs related to rental offerings with clearand professional communication skills.
