About Kaleb Nekumanesh

Since 2013, I have been studying and working as an environment artist / designer at several high-profile companies such as Microsoft, Amazon Games, Ascendant Studios, and Oculus VR. In that time, I have shipped three AAA games and have shipped several smaller independent projects. I have also led teams between 3-15 people in various roles and helped develop and maintain a creative vision. In addition to my work, I also volunteer my time as an advisor, mentor, and teacher for students looking to break into the industry and improve their craft. To do this, I have worked with the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, California State University, DigiPen Institute of Technology, and the Center for Advanced Research and Technology. I believe that a strong attention to detail, ability to see and help develop the bigger picture, and the knowledge to collaborate effectively with different teams are paramount in the success of a project. My experience working as an artist, designer, leader, mentor, and quality assurance tester has prepared me to be an excellent communicator and problem solver for any game dev team.
