Adapt: In an ever-changing time we live in, the "new normal" presents itself in various different fashions. Never knowing what's next to expect, it's important to pay mind to your surroundings. Even more important however is how well you can adapt. With COVID to use as a prime example, my school, life, and eventually work all resorted to being online. I was even able to do auditions via Zoom, and still meet with my drama club members outside of our other curriculums. To this day I find myself being adaptive to many of my academic and social situations.Impact: I am a social media recruiter as well as a sales representative for my job with Vector Marketing. I have had the pleasure of working with some magnificent people, and have had the pleasure of adding some wonderful people to the team. Even if for a short-term summer job, I gave people experience that can carry their career paths in a whole new direction. I have had one friend who has stayed and worked with the company and is making the most of it. Connect: I work in a networking business where I am always met with the opportunity to meet people. My skills that I've learned inn the job have given me experience to connect with people in my daily life. For example, I gained the leadership role for my Business Academics Group for Online Business just by stepping up and requesting the position. This allows me to make critical decisions for a group of people including meeting times and deadlines. It has also taught me to be direct in what I'm saying, instead of trying to be kind and indirect.
