Responsible for Four projects cost moniering, allocation of resources to correct cost elements, preparation of cost reports and show the actual cost variances against allocated budget.Responsibilities includes cost reconcile, coordination with accounts, as well as all cost related issues.

Joined Burhan to re-establish effective cost control department for the newly awarded mega project (New Jahra Hospital Project) valuing KD 357 Million, but unfortunately Burhan was expelled later.Involved in companies existing projects, organizing the structure of the department, provide training to the Project QS and related staff for the preparation of project cost reports etc. Following are the projects handling at the moment.

Established complete active cost control department in the company. The responsibilities as a Cost Control Manager includes: • Preparation of Procedural Manual for the department. • Coordination with Finance Department and creation of complete Cost Codes Structure according to the system for Job Costing.• Developing and implementing of projects budgets, forecasts and financial reports. • Responsible to guide/explain all SQS, QS of the projects as a Cost Controller/QS for Monitoring, Controlling and preparation of Project Cost Reports.• Preparation of Head Office Budget, monitoring and controlling and provide reports to GM.• Control and provide reports of Plant & Equipment as well as all Batching (5 Nos.) and Asphalt Plants (1 No.) P&L (Profit & Loss) reports.

I was responsible for all the cost issues of the Projects managed by KEO for Kuwait Ports Authority for Shuwaikh & Doha Ports. Monitor all cost against allocated Budget of the Projects and prepare reports accordingly. Review of pre-tender documents before issuance by KPA to CTC. Tenders review and preparation of Tender Evaluation and Recommendation Reports. Checking/reviewing and recommendation of all Consultants, Supervisors and Contractors payments to the client. Review and evaluate financial claims and prepare reply according to the contracts. Prepare monthly reports for client to show budgeted cost and actual cost of the projects. Prepare cost estimates for the projects. Ensure that the construction cost does not exceed the contract amount. Prepare cash flow of the projects for KPA. Review all the variation orders and claims of the contractors and act according to the contract documents.
