I am currently the Operations Manager at Kennesaw State's Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). My role encompasses four main areas: Budget Management, Web Developer, Conference Manager, and Operations Manager & Supervisor. As the Center’s Budget Manager I am responsible for making purchases for 140 faculty who have been awarded funding for teaching excellence, in addition to the center’s 7 faculty and 3 staff. As the Web Developer have I been able to completely redesign the center’s websites with a modern look full search capabilities, import 32 years of faculty award winners, implement user profiles and establish the #1 Google ranked teaching conference database website. In my role as the Conference Manager, I am responsible for all the marketing efforts but also manage event logistics such as hotel contracts, audio/visual setup, catering, and conference registration. While performing my duties as the Operations Manager and Supervisor, I am responsible for the maintenance of the office supplies and technology, management of the event calendar for workshops and meetings, as well as concessions for workshops. I also supervise one Operations Coordinator and two Communication Specialists.

As the National Director, Mr. Clarkson is ultimately responsible for all operational and programmatic activities for the entire organization and staff. His duties include but are not limited to, policy & procedure implementation, strategic planning, assessment and evaluation strategies, board development, contract negotiations, national sponsorships and collaborations.
