Part of my job involved working with a number of small businesses around the Raleigh area to coordinate events in which works by artists such as, Picasso, Monet, Modigliani and more, were showcased. The goal was to make fine art more accessible to anyone and foster a stronger sense of community between a town and its local businesses. Other responsibilities of mine included cataloguing the art within the collection, conducting extensive research on the pieces and artists, making sure the works were properly cared for and preserved, filing paperwork, advertising for any upcoming shows and working with art brokers and insurers to protect and expand the collection.
